Sydney North Franchise

The Milestonz Nannies Sydney North office started operating 18th July. The first few weeks have been busy with interviewing candidates to add to an existing data base.

Candidates that have been selected have met all of our stringent criteria and are now available for placements with families.

  • Nannies / Babysitters
  • Mothercraft
  • Age Care
  • Personal Assistants
  • Either on a full-time / part-time / casual / after school/weekend and overnight stays or emergency basis

Although my territory is Sydney North I have candidates from all over Sydney and can service all areas. 

The experience of these candidates comes from a wide range of placements either in Australia/NZ/USA and the UK. They have come highly recommended from other families that I have personally chatted with to get better insight into their suitability as carers. Each of these families were only too pleased to recommend their carers to other families, a lot are still in contact with each other and for those that worked abroad keep in contact via email and exchange photos.

My job is to help find the right candidate for the family's specific needs. I have interviewed with this in mind and have a broad selection of quality candidates.

  • The Babysitting service is very popular - our babysitters are our nannies
  • Personal Assistants can be a great service for mothers or families that work from home - these candidates have experience in both office and child care. They can help run the office while parents spend quality time with their children or run children to appointments, activities etc. Help with daily running of the house, shopping, errands and make appointments.
  • Age Carers that have experience in one to one care. A candidate is also available with his own vehicle that can transport four passengers plus a wheel chair.
  • Nannies with newborn/twin/toddler /older children and special needs experience.
  • Mothercraft Nurses to assist mums with newborns

Corporate Partnerships are also available for companies enabling their current staff to receive a discount on placement fees.

By registering with the Sydney agency enables you to use the babysitting services of our other agency with 50% off the booking fee - handy if you are planning to holiday on the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast this summer.

My experience has varied throughout my working life but most importantly for most of it I have been a working Mum. I understand the most important feeling a mum must have when leaving her children in any type of care is one of trust. More so how hard it is for a family thinking of hiring a nanny for the first time and all the concerns and questions that spring to mind.

My two children have grown up quickly; Robbie now 20yrs is studying at Otago Dunedin NZ and is in his second year of Bachelor Design [Product] course. He is also a serious snowboarder and I have no doubt when he finishes at the end of 2006 he will be off following the snow. Lauren soon to turn 15yrs is passionate about drama and dance and would like to end up on stage. She also has a flair for fashion design, we often joke if she doesn't make it down the red carpet one of her designs might.

Time with our children is important and their care always comes first. That is why when I returned to live in Sydney that I decided to take on the franchise Milestonz Sydney North to help families employ quality candidates for their families needs.
When I send out a candidate for interview the family knows they have been interviewed by me personally, I have spoken to past employers, done a working with children check, asked for a health statement and sighted their first aid certificate. This is all time consuming, time that a lot of working families don't have.
