The experience of these candidates comes from a wide range of placements either in Australia / NZ / USA and the UK. With an educational background starting with Cert 111 and Diploma in Child Studies leading to a Bachelor of Education [ Early Childhood ], Rangi Ruru [ NZ ], NNEB [UK] etc or just years and years of experience. They all come highly recommended from other families that have been personally interviewed to get a better insight into their suitability as carers. Each of these families were only too pleased to recommend their carers to other families.

My job is to help find the right candidate for the family’s specific needs. I interview with this in mind and have a broad selection of quality candidates.

Services

  • The Babysitting service is very popular - our babysitters are our nannies

  • Personal Assistants can be a great service for mothers or families that work from home – these candidates have experience in both office and child care. They can help run the office while parents spend quality time with their children or run children to appointments, activities etc. Help with daily running of the house, shopping, errands and make appointments.

  • Age Carers that have experience in one to one care. A candidate is also available with his own vehicle that can transport four passengers plus a wheel chair.

  • Nannies with newborn/twin/toddler /older children and special needs experience.

  • Mothercraft to assist mums with newborns

  • Housekeepers to assist in the smooth running of your home which includes cleaning [with attention to detail], home management, house sitting, shopping, errands and cooking [some have experience as chefs that can assist with entertaining].

Corporate Partnerships are also available for companies enabling their current staff to receive a discount on placement fees.

Babysitting and Nanny Club Registration the Sydney office offers families either a 3/6/12month registration reducing one off booking fees for the occasional babysitter [after 6pm] or that occasional need for a daytime nanny. Full detail available by contacting the Sydney office.

The Sydney office now offer

  • "Online Babysitting" - 3 or 6mth registration to our continually updated list of our registered nannies available for evening babysitting. One off or special occasion babysitting requirements can still be booked through the office.
  • "Nanny Club" - contact the office to discuss our 3mth registration for occasional nanny requirements, minimum 4hrs booking for lunch date, catching up with friends, gym, shopping trips or that much deserved pampering.
  • Gift Certificates - includes booking fee and hourly rate [ minimum 4hr booking] for either evening babysitting or daytime nanny.

Lucy Goldsack’s Experience

I have been lucky to enjoy a number of different experiences in my life and having children is about the best. Probably one of the most difficult balancing acts I’ve had to manage is looking after the children whilst also wanting the challenge of work – a challenge I’m sure a number of Mums experience. When trying to resolve that, you need to know that when you can’t keep an eye on the kids, you want to be able to trust someone who will and that they will do their best for your kids.

As my four children grow up it is fun seeing them change and learn new skills and being able to spend quality time with them. However, it is not always possible to spend all your time with the children and that becomes a challenge when looking for who can help in that process.

That is what led me to buy Milestonz Nannies in Sydney. It provides the benefit of working from home, whilst letting me help other parents find the right nanny for them and their kids, using my own personal experience. I aim to provide not only a great nanny, but also the back-up information (see the useful links page)to ensure everything runs smoothly once you’ve decided on the right nanny for you.

The great thing about Milestonz is that we get a lot of referrals from both families who’ve used us before and nannies introducing their friends and colleagues. This all depends on a thorough interviewing and checking process, that ensures I only recommend the best candidates for the job. My experience as a carer and a Mum has given me a great insight to know how to pick the best nannies.

I am determined to spend the time that many people don’t have with both families and nannies to find the best match for everyone. I am always available to chat and give advice when needed.
